7 pol DIN contact which includes stereo sound, for input and output, plus data signals for B&O and others.
We have tested to solder this contact and use it for our products. Since it is a bit sensitive to high temperature, we recommend a temperature regulated solder iron at 340C. The contact needs some solder pasta and then presolder to ensure a good result. When soldering it is best to fasten it on a fixture with the pin which is to be soldered according to the picture. This cools down the pin to ensure that the plastic in the contact is not damaged by the heat. And don't forget to put the plastic cover on the cable before soldering.
