Beomaster 7000, Firmware 1.3

Firmware programming of final version 1.3 for Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 7000. This product consists of programming the firmware, the EPROM circuit and, test in a Beomaster 7000. We may reuse erased EPROMs. The EPROM is located on the CPU board in the Beomaster behind a metal shield. We can also supply other versions on special request.

Firmware 1.3 has added functions for option "0" when it is used with a Beosystem 3 or A/V7000, Beovision 7 or, similiar for instance in a surround system. With this firmware and Beomaster set to option "0" the Beomaster takes commands from the Beosystem or AV7000 and answers to two-way commands for Beolink 5000 or Beolink 70000. Beo4 and Beolink 1000 works as normal.

For use with a Beosystem 3 or Beovision 7 you will also need a Beolink converter 1611 with firmware 1.3. We have tested different versions of this set-up and it works fine. Only when the Beomaster 7000 is set to option "0" the time programming from the main room and the sound level wheel control on ML5500/6500 is not supported.

The new EPROM has a small mark on one side which must be turned in the same way as the old EPROM.
