LDR resistor. The resistanse vary depending on light. LDR resistors are for instance used for regulating the display in Beovox Penta and for tone arm tracking in Beogram record players. The resistanse for LDRs have a 20-30% tolerane and the light has to fall in exatly the same direction to be able to compare the values for different LDRs. This type reduce the resistance when light is falling on it.
We have tested this LDR resistor in Beogram 5005 wich has the same construction as Beogram 3000, Beogram 3300, Beogram 3500, Beogram 4500, Beogram 5500, Beogram 6500 Beogram 8500, Beogram 9500, Beogram TX2 and Beogram 7000. According to its value it should also work in Beogram 8000, Beogram 8002 and Beogram 6006 but we have not tested this yet. After replacing the LDR resistor in a Beogram the aparture should be adjusted according to the service manual. Be very carefull not to damage the thin copper leads to the tone arm and sensor arm.
