Beomaster 5000, IC 2, CPU with firmware

Replacement processor, IC2, with firmware programming for Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 5000. This product consists of a replacement CPU and programming the firmware and, test in a Beomaster 5000. For this we have to reuse erased replacement CPUs since it is an old type which is hard to get. The CPU has located next to the large chrystal on the CPU board the metal shield. Since there is no documentation of different firmware versions there may be versions of the Beomaster which need a cpu with other firmware. We therefore give a full money back warrenty on this item.

Please ensure that it is handled correctly due to static electricity. Also note how the IC is turned on the CPU board since the different IC:s are turned in different directions. It is very easy to bend a leg on these large ICs and it may be hard to see if it has been bent under the IC. Please check carefully that this does not happend when mounting the IC.
